How to Add Media

Step 1: Located on the sidebar to the left is a list of many options. Hover over the Media section, and then click Add New.

Step 2: After you click Add New, you will be brought to a screen where you can add media. You can add media in one of two ways: dragging and dropping media into the box provided, or clicking the Select Files button.

Step 3: To drag and drop a media file, simply open the folder containing your file and then click on your file and drag it to the box on the screen. If the media file is located on your desktop, click and drag it from your desktop.


Step 4: To use the Select Files button, click on Select Files. It will open a window where you can see all of your folders and files. Simply click on the folder containing your file, click on your file, then click “Open” and the media file should have been uploaded.

Step 5: If you would like to add a caption to, add a description to, add a title to, or delete your media, you can click the “Edit link located on your newly added media, seen below the “Upload New Media box.” This will take you to a page where you can do these things.


Step 6: At the top of the page, there is a textbox. You can change the title of your media here. Now scroll to the bottom. You will see a few textboxes: one in which you can write a caption for your media, and another where you can write a description.

Step 7: Scroll back to the top and click “Update.” All changes should be saved. You can also delete your media here by clicking the Delete Permanently button.
